About Me
I’m a “businessman” among engineers, or an engineer among businessmen, which is awesome because I love doing both.
I’m founder and CEO at SitePen, co-founder of Dojo, and co-organizer of Phoenix TypeScript and London HalfStack, an annual JS conf and monthly meetup. Previously I was President of the Dojo Foundation (now part of the JS Foundation). I authored a chapter in the book Even Faster Web Sites, have provided editorial review for many other Dojo and JavaScript books, and have presented at more than 100 web conferences in North America, Europe, Asia, and the South Pacific.
When traveling I miss my lovely wife Leita, our daughters Maria and Greta and son Otto, our cats and dog. I have traveled to more than 30 countries around the world.
